The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has approved a new pricing scheme for the erectile dysfunction treatment, Viagra.
The proposed scheme is for men aged 18 to 45, who are aged over 40, to pay the same as in the previous scheme.
The ACCC is concerned about the potential for counterfeit erectile dysfunction treatment products being offered in the market and the lack of safety data in the Australian market.
The proposed scheme is part of a multi-pronged approach that will allow men to make an informed decision on their options for erectile dysfunction medication, including the choice of medication.
